St Teresa of Avila Narthex is holding another discussion group session covering aspects of Gnostic theology and praxis. This week the topic will be Gnostic scripture. We will discuss the discoveries of the various texts, the various types of texts in the Gnostic scriptural body, and the relevance of the texts to modern Gnostics.

People attending the discussion are encouraged to bring along a short quote from the early Gnostic texts (Nag Hammadi, Pistis Sophia etc), that particularly speaks to them, for possible discussion.

Logos Liturgy 22nd March 2009

Tonight St Teresa of Avila Narthex shares the Liturgy of the Logos on this the fourth Sunday of Lent, and the Day of Martyrdom of Tau Harmonius (Constant Martin Chevillon).

On 22nd March 1944, Tau Harmonius (Constant Martin Chevillon), Gnostic Bishop, Freemason, and Hermeticist, faced a French firing squad under the direction of the occupying Nazi regime. The German Nazi party had been purging various esoteric and masonic Orders, and religious denominations, it saw as a possible threat to the spread of National Socialist ideology. Instead of facing trial for "subversive activities" Tau Harmonius faced summary and anonymous execution at the hands of a Parti Populaire Francais death squad.

Today is the 65th anniversary of his martyrdom.

The Service will be held at:

Inner Harmony Centre
142 Apollo Road
